A design based on a Japanese lacquer box, made by renowned lacquer-maker Yoshia Okade. It depicts ethereal clouds lit by a mysterious moon.
The underlying brushed aluminium glints through, to give a golden moonlight.
Very lightweight at just 2 grams, despite their statement size (4cm drop), and fitted onto sterling silver ear wire studs (as shown in photos - select "post & butterfly" fitting). They are so comfortable to wear. The colour is sealed inside the surface by anodising. The item comes beautifully packaged, ready for gifting.
I craft all pieces by hand in my studio, being classically trained at Birmingham School of Jewellery.
