Winged Scarab Pendant
Winged Scarab beetle, inspired by the emblematic jewellery of the Ancient Egyptians, and by original 18th century colour prints painted by the famous French designer Firmin Didot from his visits to the Tombs of the Kings.
The scarab is made from sterling silver, hard-gold plated to vermeil standard. The body of the scarab is inset with genuine lapis lazuli, representing wing cases, and holds a red garnet representing the Sun. The pendant is hung on a 20" vermeil chain.
