Ring Sizing Online

There are a couple of ways to measure your ring size online.

The easiest way, and most accurate, is to measure a ring that you already have, which fits comfortably on the finger you want it for. There are several apps and websites available. These ask you to place your ring onto the screen to compare it with on-screen templates. My favourite is FindMyRingSize.com

I have tested that site on Windows laptop, iPad, and iPhone. I use the UK ring sizing scale on my website; with some websites or apps you may have to convert.

Alternatively, you can:

  • Measure your finger near the end of the day, and while warm. The finger will be at its largest at that time.

  • Find a piece of string or strip of paper about 1cm in width

  • Wrap it around the base of the finger on which the ring will be worn

  • Use a pen to mark the point where it overlaps to form a complete circle

  • With a ruler, measure the length from the start of the string/paper to the pen mark

  • Use the table below to determine the ring size (UK scale)

It is much more accurate to measure your finger circumference than the diameter.

Fun fact: if you are right-handed, the fingers on your right hand are probably slightly larger than on your left hand!
