As a designer of handmade jewellery, I have always been fascinated by the artistic connections between decorative arts across cultures. I love the manual process of making decorative objects, and qualified at the prestigious Birmingham School of Jewellery, specialising in fine jewellery with colour, using unusual gemstones and settings.

This led to thinking about how to colour metal, and so to my unique range of aluminium jewellery. I selected aluminum for its unique properties of how it holds colour, and for its lightness combining size with comfort for earrings. Every earring and pendant is still individually cut out by hand using the traditional jewellery techniques of piercing saw, followed by filing and buffing to a shine.
